CSM was key to setting up Christians in Politics (CiP), a network of organisations committed to engaging Christians and churches with the political process. CiP has recently produced a video to challenge young Christians to get involved in politics – ‘Sitting on the sofa is not an option’ – and a resource pack and other literature to mark Politics Sunday. CiP participates in major Christian festivals and gatherings.
CSM also works formally and informally with a variety of organisations and agencies of like mind – including Make Votes Count, the Shaftesbury Society, Faithworks, Jubilee Debt Campaign, Make Poverty History, Bible Society, Church Action on Poverty, the Evangelical Alliance and the Greenbelt Festival.
