WELCOME to Young CSM

Young CSM is made up of all members of the Christian Socialist Movement who are under 30.

Our aim is to engage young left – leaning Christians in politics and to challenge them to consider how their faith can be put into action in the public arena.

Our vision is for young Christians to be passionately involved in politics, committed to their faith whilst also being active participants in, and contributors to, the Labour movement.

We host speaker events to which all are welcome, whether members of CSM or not. Our speakers include Labour parliamentarians, political activists and Christian leaders. All share a deep-rooted commitment to the political process and to faith’s role within it.

Alongside this opportunity for young Christians to hear from, and challenge speakers, there is also the chance to contribute on this website and to get to know other young Christians at social events.

We believe that involvement in party politics is crucial for all Christians keen to influence national policy for the common good. We do encourage you to get involved.
