Great to see our Chair, Alun Michael MP, interviewed on the Daily Politics show last week when they looked back at the history of the Hunting Act.

Archive film shows how violent the pro-hunt campaigners became. It’s led to some interest on Twitter – lots of support but some people still don’t seem to want to believe that the law is clear, claiming that Defra won’t answer theoretical questions about what they can and can’t do within the law.
As Alun has pointed out, it’s not for Defra to give legal advice ...... it’s the Courts that have confirmed that the law is clear. The Ministry of Justice statistics show that 181 people have been convicted since 2005.
