AGM & Tawney Dialogue
Creating the Good Society - How Then Shall We Live?

The 2011 Annual General Meeting and Tawney Dialogue will take place on Wednesday 30th March starting at 5:30pm in the Chapel of Methodist Central Hall, Storey's Gate (just off Parliament Square), London, SW1H 9NH.
Please could you inform the Secretary via the CSM Office by Friday 25 February if you would like to add anything to the agenda. It would also help us if you could indicate by this date whether or not you are likely to attend. The agenda and any supporting papers will be posted on the CSM website 7 days beforehand, although paper copies can be requested.
"The socialist society is a community of responsible men and women working without fear in comradeship for common ends" - R.H. Tawney
We are very pleased to announce and extend our invitation to this year's Tawney Dialogue. Our theme for the event is 'Creating the Good Society - How Then Shall We Live?' and will be considered by three renowned speakers including: Sadiq Khan MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Justice, Lord Maurice Glasman, Director of London Metropolitan University's Faith and Citizenship Programme and the intellectual authority behind the influential Citizens UK community organising movement, and the Rev Lucy Winkett, Vicar of St James, Piccadilly, and former Canon Precentor of St Paul's Cathedral. Please do make every effort to come and pass on the invite to as many others as you can; this is a key event to encourage potential new members to engage with the CSM. There will be an opportunity to give to the work of CSM, so please do come prepared to make a contribution to help us cover the costs of the event. The Dialogue will take place at 6:45pm, directly after the AGM.
