Speaking on one of his first engagements as Labour's new leader, Ed Miliband praised the work of CSM yesterday. He was speaking at CSM's 50th anniversary reception, which was held after the Labour Party's annual conference church service in Manchester Cathedral. CSM, he said, was in the forefront of Labour's renewal and he highlighted CSM's 'Labour Neighbours' project.
Ed Miliband's comments came as the breakdown of election results showed that CSM members voted for Ed Miliband on the first preference round of voting.
