CSM meets Jesse Jackson whilst he visited the Labour Party Headquarters

CSM met Jesse Jackson, U.S. Civil Rights Leader, whilst he visited the Labour Party Headquarters in support of Labour as we near a general election.

Inspirational as ever, Jesse Jackson encouraged Labour supporters to confidently work hard with the determination to win in the next election. Among his many motivational remarks, Jesse stated:

“We are all free; but we are not all equal. There is still much work to be done, and you can see the evidence of this in the differences between those attending Oxford and Cambridge and those in jail; in the rates of infant mortality and death rates among certain groups of people.

You are fighting for change; you are a progressive party.

The big races are won by the smallest of margins, driven by hope or by despair. So, don’t give up on any given day, that last phone call you make can determine the difference and help shape the course of this country.”
