Unions Together Update on Lobbying Cameron on Workers' Rights
Dear Friend --
2,500 people have already signed our letter to David Cameron, saying "Yes!" to defending workers' rights.
Today leading figures in the trade union movement have added their voices to our campaign too, and have written an open letter to the newspapers calling on Cameron to come clean about his threat to our rights at work.
We have had incredible support for this crucial message and we intend to make our collective voice even louder - so we still need to hear from you. Add your name now and demand that British workers continue to receive the same protection as the rest of Europe:
http://www.unionstogether.org.uk/lettertoCameron It takes just a moment and a couple of clicks to sign our letter. After you do, we want you to consider taking just a few more minutes to join us in a new campaign we're launching.
If a picture's worth a thousand words, imagine what 2,500 pictures are worth. Do you remember what life was like under the Tories? Take a photo of yourself holding a sign that says "I remember" and upload it to our site here:

We all remember how bad it was when the Tories ran the show. Working people had to support their families on wages of just one pound an hour. Thousands of people suffered years of ill-health waiting and waiting for operations. Communities were ripped apart as pits, shipyards and factories closed.
With an election round the corner, we have to remind working people what a Tory government would really mean for them.
We'll use your photos and messages to create a powerful video to go with our letter to David Cameron. You can also call in on 020 3318 1659 and leave us a voice message telling us what you remember about the dark days of Tory rule, and we'll use those recordings in the video too.
With technology as it is, it only takes a few minutes to snap a digital photo, upload it to our site, or leave us a voice message. Your personal touch is just what we need to stick it to David Cameron, and to send a clear message to the public that going back to the Tories is not a risk worth taking.

Thanks for your support. I can't wait to see your response.
Helen
