Climate Prayers - Week two: First week of Copenhagen Climate Summit
This is a key time for Christians to pray as the negotiations begin in Copenhagen. Some are fasting for one day each week. There is lots of prayer material on the Churches Together website including audio tracks.
Climate Stewards will be in Copenhagen broadcasting daily prayer reports via United Christian Broadcasting and putting them online at www.twitter.com/climateprayer (you can see these even without a twitter account).
* Pray for all organisations and NGO’s taking part in Copenhagen that their meetings will be a real encouragement and challenge to all who attend
* Pray for leaders of small, poorly-resourced delegations – often just one or two people – that they will be able to get information in languages they can understand and play a full role in making decisions
