SPEAK is going to The Wave
THE WAVE, 5th December 2009, the UK’s biggest ever demonstration in support of action on climate change, this Saturday.
We will be gathering straight after the ecumenical service at Westminster Central Hall. The service starts at 11am. We will meet straight after this, around 12noon, in St James Park on the Birdcage walk entrance.
One group will then head straight off to the start of the march and others will stay and eat lunch and make our way to feed into the march at Trafalgar Square. There is an after party at LSE Students Union from 4.30pm.
Don't forget to:
Wear something blue!
Wrap up warm - its December and it will be cold/wet. Gloves, hats and scarves are compulsory!
Bring Waterproofs
Bring whistles or anything to make a noise!
Bring plenty of food and water to keep you going all day.
