Praying for csm's team at greenbelt
This weekend see's the start of this year's Greenbelt Festival, held in the beautiful surroundings of Cheltenham Racecourse. Greenbelt is a big weekend for CSM and it's activists and so we'd like to ask you to pray for all that's going on.
CSM will be distributing postcards throughout the event. I won't spoil them here, but they aim to be different, and a little contraversial. Look out for us if you're there.
Central to what we're doing is our seminar on Saturday, 5.30pm in the venue called Jerusalem. 'Faith & Politics with CSM' is David Lammy in conversation with Andy Flannagan. Pray for David and Andy, for those attending the event and for God to work through it. Indeed Andy has a busy weekend, as he's also leading worship on Friday at 6pm in the Big Top and at 9am on Monday in Underground.
The following are just a few of the things that CSM members are involved in:
Friday, 6pm, Big Top - Andy Flannagan
Saturday, 10.15am, Film - Jane Corbett (CSM member and Labour councillor) and Ann Roach, 'Stories from Inner City Liverpool & what God thinks about inequality'
Saturday, 12pm, Centaur, Douglas Alexander MP and David Lammy MP - 'Community & Change'
Saturday, 1.45pm, Festival Bowl, Neal Lawson (Director of Compass), 'All Consuming'
Saturday, 5.30pm, Jerusalem - 'Faith & Politics with CSM' - David Lammy in conversation with Andy Flannagan
Saturday, 8.30pm, Kitchen, Jane Corbett, Neal Lawson and Others - 'With a Crunch and a Crash'
Sunday, 3pm, CSM meet-up at tiny tea tent
Monday, 10am, Underground - Andy Flannagan
Monday, 6.30pm, Jerusalem - Jonathan Cox (CSM EC Member), 'Yes we can? What Obama means for us'
Finally, there is an impromptu gathering of CSM members at the Tiny Tea Tent, 3pm on the Sunday afternoon. If you're around, come and see us.
