New csm branches
Its great to hear about the first shoots of new CSM local branches emerging around the country.
In Sheffield, Tim Jeffrey is working to get Christians who find themselves on the left of politics together to establish a regional CSM branch in Sheffield (UK). Tim's actions came in response to an article in 'The Common Good' published last year. Tim hopes the branch would provide an opportunity for prayer, worship and the promotion of Christian Socialist values in the locality. If you are from the area or interested in any way, please consider becoming involved. You can contact TIm via the CSM head office or through the 'Christians on the Left' facebook group.
In Reading, Andy Freeman is beginning a similar process. Andy writies regularly for this website and also works with 24-7 Prayer. Andy is a long term resident in Reading and hopes to get a meeting organised to kick start a local branch. Again to get in touch with Andy, send an email to CSM and we'll put you in touch.
For a full list of CSM branches or to read Dave Canning's article on how to start a local branch, check out the Members area.
